NERLEI – the Leiria Region Business Association, is organizing a Business Mission to the United Kingdom, which will take place from March 17 to 21, 2025.
This multi-sector action is part of “International Business 2023-25”, an operation co-financed by COMPETE 2030, and its main objective is to provide Portuguese small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with business opportunities and contact with relevant local players.
The companies will get to know the UK business environment, a strategic market for many Portuguese companies, and take part in individual B2B (Business to Business) meetings tailored to the needs and profiles of each stakeholder.
NERLEI was founded on June 25, 1985, and its main mission is to provide useful services that contribute positively to the results achieved by its member companies, strengthening the business fabric and promoting the economic and social development of the region. Over the years, it has supported several national companies by promoting training and internationalization activities.
The “International Business 2023-25” operation specifically aims to promote competitiveness and export capacity in a group of SMEs in the home, office and automotive sectors, through collective participation in fairs, international missions and the implementation and promotion of international marketing actions, digital transformation and the development of e-commerce in SMEs.
COMPETE 2030 has helped to promote the competitiveness of Portuguese companies.
The co-financing made available by this programme allows more companies to take part in international missions, reducing the costs and risks associated with implementing internationalization. This is important support for companies to explore new markets and expand their business.
